From the County Fixture Secretary
I am having problems with various club fixture secretaries in Northamptonshire when arranging friendly fixtures and not moving them correctly in line with the 53 week year in 2026
I work to the Bowls England Standardised Weeks of the year both for County and Club fixtures.
This year 2026 has 53 weeks, meaning the first week in January starts on the 4th. meaning the Week Number dates move forward an average of 6 days.
Manfield Cup is always played on Week No. 26 In 2026 the cup was played on Saturday 27th June
In 2027 the Saturday of Week No. 26 will be July 3rd.
