Highlights
"The election of the Honorary Secretary necessitated the retirement from the room of Messrs Papworth (current secretary) and Moore, who had been nominated for the post. On their return to the room Mr W.J. Moore was informed that he had been unanimously elected. As was very natural under the circumstances, the late secretary felt very much hurt, and retired from the meeting, taking with him all books, notes etc"
The Annual Dinner was arranged to take place at Rushden at a cost of 5/6d per head, with
the Presidents of Leicestershire, Bedfordshire & Oxfordshire as guests.
77 attended with entertainment from Gwen Vaughan and Alec McGill.
