Highlights


At the Council Meeting in April, the Chairman asked for the meeting to decide on the voting powers of the recently alected Life Members. A vote was taken and resulted in voting powers being given 15 votes to 11.


On September 30th Mr W.J. Moore, the County President and Secretary passed away.

Mr B.D. Hsrries took on the role as President, and Mr R. Knight as acting secretary until the AGM.


The Manfield Cup now 40 years old, was found to be uninsured. It was insured for £50


At a Council Meeting it was agreed to alter the date of the Manfield Cup from July to the last Saturday in June (to take effect from 1948).


The secretary was given an honorarium of £10/10/- and he shoukd have a telephone installed and be allowed to £10/10/- to cover the cost of installation and calls forthe year.


It was also agreed that Area secretaries should call a meeting of clubs within their Area to select officials for the ensuing year.
