Highlights

For the 1954 season the Peterborough Area was moved from the Rushden Area for selection purposes.


Mr HC Bsnks (Kingsthorpe) was appointed as the County's first Assistant Secretary


In recognition of the county's Jubilee(!!!) 50 years as a member of the EBA and the first countybto have this honour, President Francis Burton of the EBA brought a team from his executive to play the county.

The game was played at the County Ground on May 12th


After a letter was received from Kettering Cons- Manfield Cup winners fixture to be an Executive match

 and printed in the Official Fixture Card.
